Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 the Bike Kitchen is hosting a League of American Cyclists Traffic Skills 101 course. Space is still available we are asking for only a freewill donation to help cover the cost of the instructors and their travel (rather than the $30 fee). Please come and join us for a day of classroom and on-the-streets training.


Overview: Traffic Skills 101 gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. The course covers bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques and includes a student manual. Recommended for adults and children above age fourteen, this fast-paced, nine-hour course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling.


  • When: 9am - 6pm, Saturday, October 3rd.
  • What: Bring your bicycle, helmet, pencil/notepad, and a lunch.
  • Where: Allied Engineering - 32 Discovery Drive, Bozeman (map).
