Winter Bicycle Commuter Clinic Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 7:00pm at Avalaunch Lounge (in Wild Joe's Coffee) Riding a bicycle in the winter is awesome! No more scraping of your car windshield. No more sitting down on a cold car seat. No more feeling lazy because of lack of exercise. The Bozeman Bike Kitchen staff will be hosting a Winter Bicycle Commuter clinic at the new Avalaunch Lounge (located in Wild Joe's Coffee) on Wednesday January 5th at 7:00pm. Come to learn more about riding your bicycle in the winter or come to meet others who already do. Topics to be covered will include: Why commute via bicycle? Safety while sharing icy roads with automobiles Winter-specific riding skills Proper cold-weather clothing Special cycling accessories Maintenance Other fun stuff! Wild Joe's has kindly offered up free coffee and cookies to attendees. And the Avalaunch Lounge has offered up the space (which is free and open to the public everyday).
