Tonight at 6:00 pm, the Bozeman City Commission is to decide whether to install bike lanes on Peach Street between Rouse and North 7th. The Bozeman Bicycle Advisory Board has recommended FOR the installation of these lanes to the Commission but the City Staff Report has recommended AGAINST installing them. It is important to attend the meeting and voice your support IN FAVOR of installing bike lanes. We need to convince the Commission to install the lanes despite the staff's recommendation. People who wish to comment on this issue can do so at the beginning of the meeting during public comment. Prepare yourself by reading the informational packet provided by the City Staff. You may do this by clicking the agenda item "Peach Street Bike Lanes" from the cities website: |
